What her colour means

Lindy is a chocolate dapple: a brown base coat broken by the lighter marbling of the dapple (merle) gene, with the brown nose and blue eyes that pairing usually brings.

She carries one dapple gene rather than two. Only one of her parents is a dapple, which is the thing worth asking any breeder about — two dapple parents can produce a double dapple, and double dapples carry a real risk of deafness, blindness and malformed eyes. Our dapple page explains how we pair to avoid it.

Chocolate is not a dilute colour, so colour dilution alopecia does not apply to her.

What is included at $1,000

Age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a vet health check, a one-year health guarantee, and a written record of both parents’ coat patterns. She is started on potty training and raised in the house rather than a kennel.

Seeing her before you pay

We do a live video call before any payment, so you can watch her move, see how she reacts to a noise, and ask whatever you want. We do not ask for payment before that call.

Start an application or contact us to arrange it. To compare her with the others, see all ten available puppies.
